Megan has experience in securities litigation and compliance, with a primary focus in defending financial services industry participants in FINRA arbitrations. Megan has also aided international clients in becoming registered broker-dealers with the SEC and FINRA, and she frequently advises clients on complex commercial disputes pending in state and federal court.
Before joining Gusrae Kaplan, Megan worked as a legal intern defending professional liability and consumer litigation matters. Megan also interned at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon in the Hague in the bilingual Pre-Trial Chamber, primarily researching international criminal procedure.
Megan received her BA from Northwestern University and her J.D. from Boston College Law School. Fluent in French, Megan received her LL.M., cum laude, in International, European, and French Business Law from the Sorbonne Law School in Paris. While in law school, Megan worked as a teaching assistant for the experiential course Negotiation and competed in the Oxford French Law Moot Court in 2019, placing third overall.
