Today, in the arbitration styled Robert Henry Lipka v. Katherine F. Alcorn and Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., FINRA No. 10-01554, the Arbitration Panel unanimously dismissed Claimant’s $2,000,000, 12 count Statement of Claim, with claims related to defamation, wrongful termination, and tortious interference, filed against GKN client, Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. and further issued an Award against Claimant for the entirety of the $20,850 in hearing fees incurred over the course of the 8 day evidentiary hearing.
